Preparing for the World of Work

The Development Company does not provide technical training for apprentices and non-graduate trainees. However, in a modern workplace there is an increased need for soft skills such as understanding and working with other people.

Since 1999 The Development Company has been working with engineering apprentices delivering a programme called Lifeskills.

This programme provides delegates with the personal and interpersonal skills needed in a fast moving engineering environment.
