October Assignments
The roll out of the leadership programme for UK central government continued during October with three modules getting their first airing. These were Leading Change, Enhanced Business Communication and Inspirational Management. Prior to the Inspirational Management module delegates were invited to nominate a manager and at least one peer and direct report to provide 360° Feedback. The 360° Feedback was given using the online 360° Feedback Centre designed by TDC.
October has been a month for team events:
- A one day event for a small team within one of the UK’s largest life, health and casualty insurance providers.
- A team event for the directorate of a government agency to review progress to date, leadership styles and ongoing development needs.
- A three day team bonding exercise aboard a clipper in the Solent for the newly formed management team of an oil and gas industry service supplier.
Other assignments include:
- A three day Development Centre for a government team. Exercises were developed to test key skills and competencies. Individuals were observed while performing the exercises. Personal development plans and career progression plans were a direct outcome of this event.
- TDC facilitated a focus group for a UK charity.
- Lifeskills 1. A challenging, one-week programme for new apprentices at a major engineering company.
