March Assignments
Last month I mentioned that The Development Company has become a Business Partner of A&DC gaining access to their range of Assessment and Development Centre tools and products.
In addition to this, The Development Company is now qualified to train Assessors to give a consistency to any recruitment or assessment project.
Three public courses have been scheduled to provide this Assessor Training. These courses will be advertised on A&DC's website.
The dates are:
- Wednesday 15th & Thursday 16th June in Kent
- Wednesday 29th & Thursday 30th June in Bristol
- Wednesday 28th & Thursday 29th September in Hertfordshire
Planning for a graduate Assessment Centre started this month with additional days of training provided for last year's graduate intake. The client is one of the largest County Councils in England and the training covered Report Writing and Career Development for when the graduate programme ends.
Other assignments in March included the following:
- An Advanced Presentation Skills programme was delivered to an international engineering consultancy.
- One to one Coaching sessions were delivered to partners and associates at a Bristol based law firm and to a law enforcement officer in London.
- Day three of a Management Fundamentals Programme was delivered to a cohort of new managers at the UK's largest charity.
- A Team Development Workshop was run for a Welsh County Council. The team is responsible for marketing health and wellbeing within the county with individuals based in the counties leisure centres.
- A briefing for a group of sixteen modern apprentices was held prior to a week long development programme, Lifeskills, for one of the UK's largest engineering and manufacturing companies.
- A Performance Management review was held at an engineering and construction company operating in the North Sea oil fields. This included some personality profiling using DiSC.
