March Assignments
Even though it seems that the year has just begun, planning has already started for graduate assessment centres that will be run during the summer. A large county council will run an Assessment Centre for 40 graduates in August. A planning meeting took place to discuss the key behaviours to be observed and to agree a set of tasks to test these behaviours.
The roll out of a seven module Management Development Programme continued this month. The programme, for a UK government agency, uses a blend of classroom training and self directed learning that will lead to an ILM accredited certificate. Twenty cohorts of managers will undertake this programme and receive 360 Feedback as a part of the process.
Other assignments in March include:
- A new cohort started a Management Fundamentals programme at the UK's largest charity.
- More one-2-one Coaching sessions were delivered to a manager at a large legal practice and a junior manager at a local authority.
- A one day briefing was held for the delegates that will attend a five day residential Lifeskills II programme which will take place in April.
- A two day Project Management course was delivered to a large engineering consultancy. This course focused on managing client expectations, scope creep and presenting the true cost of introducing changes during a project.
- Facilitation of a conference for international delegates working for a UK government agency.
