July Assignments
Graduate recruitment gets into full swing this month at one of England’s largest County Councils. Eighteen observers were trained in readiness for the Graduate Assessment Centre that will run in August.
Thirty graduates have been invited to attend the Assessment Centre and the observers were given training to understand the exercises each graduate will undertake and the competencies being tested by the exercises.
Prior to the Assessment Centre each graduate will complete exercises that test their verbal reasoning, report writing and numeracy skills.
The first two courses in the Performance to Excellence programme were rolled out to groups of supervisors at a leading engineering company following a successful pilot that was run in June. The programme will continue to roll out through the autumn.
Other assignments include:
- A leadership workshop and effective communication course for groups of project managers and team leaders at a leading engineering consultancy.
- Dealing with conflict, as the final course in a six course programme for the senior and middle management teams at a Cardiff based training company.
- Sales awareness and training for a mixed team of field and office based staff in a company specialising in agricultural supplies and equipment.
- A leadership workshop for a Home Office team working in law enforcement.
