December Assignments
May I start by wishing you a Happy and Prosperous 2012.
Over the Christmas break, The Development Company moved to new offices at 6a, Dark Street, Haverfordwest, SA61 2DS. The telephone number and email addresses are unchanged.
While many organisations suspended training programmes before Christmas there were still several courses run earlier in the month and opportunities were taken to plan programmes and events for 2012.
Assignments in December included the following:
- A Personal Effectiveness course was run for managers at a Welsh County Council.
- Three modules were delivered for a government agency as part of its Seven Module Management Programme which is now mandatory for any officer seeking promotion.
- A planning meeting took place for a Development Centre for a team of managers in the Adult Care Sector. The Development Centre will run in February.
- Two more modules were delivered to a cohort of managers at the largest independent training company in Wales as a part of their Management Development Programme.
- MBTI testing and a feedback process were completed ahead of a Career Development Workshop for graduates as they come to the end of their Graduate Development Programme at one of the UK's largest engineering & manufacturing companies.
- A 360° Feedback process was completed for managers within a government agency prior to a management development programme.
- A one to one coaching session was undertaken with a manager at a harbour authority on the Isle of Wight.
